Our Story:
Lazenart was born from a lifelong passion for art, rooted in a childhood surrounded by creativity. Growing up with a father who was both an architect and an artist, art was more than a hobby it was a way of life.
His work taught me to see the world through a creative lens and inspired me to explore my own artistic voice.
This journey led me to study graphic design, where I began to blend traditional elements with modern expression. But it was during the stillness of the COVID-19 pandemic that Lazenart truly came to life. I began experimenting with Arabic calligraphy transforming it into contemporary art pieces across paintings, apparel, accessories, and more. Each creation became a bridge between heritage and modernity, tradition and innovation.
At Lazenart, we reimagine Arabic calligraphy by giving it new form and function in today’s world. Every design we create is a tribute to the past, infused with a modern aesthetic and personal meaning. Our goal is to make this beautiful art form accessible, relatable, and part of everyday life.

Zena Garib
Founder & Creative Director
A graphic designer and artist, Zena is a passionate bridge-builder between cultural tradition & Modern Calligraphy.
Her artistic journey is a reflection of her unique heritage and global perspective. Raised in an artistically inspired household in Saudi Arabia, expanded in Germany and refined at the American University of Emirates in Dubai, her work is a dialogue between her European-Arab heritage and a contemporary vision.
She breathes new life into Arabic calligraphy, using acrylic, epoxy resin, and mixed media to place it in unexpected contexts. From intimate canvases to wearable art.
Zena’s mission is to make tradition a part of modern life, where every piece tells a story of cultural connection and artistic innovation.
Ali Garib
Artist & Architect
Ali is both an artist and an interior architect two worlds he has intertwined since his youth. Born in Aleppo, he studied Interior Design in Germany and later worked in Saudi Arabia, where he continued to pursue his greatest passion: painting.
From early on, Ali experimented with different materials from mosque windows to large-scale murals. Today, he focuses mainly on expansive canvas works, using oil and acrylic paints, often enriched with experimental textures and powerful compositions.
His art moves between abstraction, fantasy, and the portrayal of people and faces. Inspired by artists such as Klimt and Dalí, Ali has developed a distinctive style Western in its influence, yet deeply enriched by his Middle Eastern experiences.
For Ali, painting is more than expression it is his life’s essence.
